Western, Cowboy or Single Action Shooting is one of the fastest growing shooting sports, not just in the USA but also here in the UK! With the Yorkshire Renegades you don’t need to wear a cowboy hat, boots, chaps and spurs (but you can if you want to).

As featured in GunMart magazine January 2010!

Cowboy Action Shooting is a multi-faceted shooting sport in which contestants compete with firearms typical of those used in the taming of the Old West;single action revolvers, pistol calibre lever action rifles, and old time shotguns. The Club specialises in the weapons or replica weapons of the period 1800 to 1899. This includes black powder pistols, hammer shotguns, pump action shotguns, single shot rifles and pistol calibre rifles.

The shooting competitions are staged in a unique, characterized, "Old West" style. It is a timed sport in which shooters compete for prestige on a course of different shooting stages using rifles, pistols and shotguns.
